Born 28 March 1908, better known as Prince Bira of Thailand, he was the only Thai race-car driver to compete in Formula One. Prince Bira was the grandson of King Mongkut, famously portrayed in the Hollywood film The King and I. In 1927, he was sent to Europe to complete his education at The Old Rectory and Eton.
Chula Chakrabongse ‘The Little Prince’
Born 15 July 1914, Chula was a member of the Chakri Dynasty of Thailand and the house of Chakraphong. Sent to the United Kingdom at a young age, he attended The Old Rectory during his teenage years before moving on to Harrow School. He did not return to Thailand until the age of 23.
Krishna Kumarsinhji Bhavsinhji KCSI The Maharajah of Bhavnagar
An Indian monarch and politician, the last Maharaja of Gohil dynasty, who ruled Bhavnagar State from 1919 to 1948 and also served as the first Indian Governor of Madras from 1948 to 1952. At only seven years old, he ascended the Bhavnagar throne under a regency until 1931.
